France - Day 3, Hot, hot, hot. Today would have been the hottest day yet on holiday, thankfully it was a rest day for us. In the morning we listened to a wonderful message from Andrew deVries, Then in the afternoon we had a stroll around the village where we were staying, "Buzancy" which is about an hour north of Paris. We came across another war cemetery. What we are amazed at is how neat and tidy these are kept even though they are commemorating an event that occurred over 100 years ago.
We then found a nice bush to amble through - it was good being in the shade as the temperature was well over 30 degC!
The village Buzancy, with its war memorial & cemetery
(More British soldiers buried here)
Relief at finding a bush to walk through!!!
And yes we saw a real live snake, well it was 30 cm long, but it was a snake!!
Ahhh, respite in the shade.
