Austria - Day 5

Austria - Day 5, Today, being Sunday was a restful day, in the morning we were once again encouraged by a message from Dirk vG.  In the afternoon we decided to go for a walk.  It was called a 'sculpture walk' and it took us half an hour to find where the track started.  (Austrians could learn a bit from NZ how to signpost walks!) Once we found the walk the sculptures along the way became progressively weirder (shock/modern art?!) so we decided to divert off the beaten track and do our own thing which turned out to be a very pleasant afternoon stroll through fields and forest. We were rewarded with some great views and what is quintessentially Austrian, fields filled with an abundance of wild flowers.

Austria the way we will remember it.

A field of flowers just begged to to be photographed with the girls, well it had to be the girls as the boys ran a country mile.

Tomorrow we will be heading off to Italy. As the holiday house we are staying in has no Wifi, we will be unable to send posts for a week 'till we get to Switzerland. Unless we find some free wifi :-) We shall continue to write up daily posts but may have to wait to send them at a later stage.
