Austria - Day 3

Austria - Day 3, Today a number of us woke up not feeling 100 percent, the children pretty well all have had a cold over the past week, now it was the turn of the adults, unfortunately we're not as resilient as the children 😟. We ended up having a somewhat more relaxed day because of that, going for a leisurely walk in the Austrian bush instead of braving the roads and multitudes of people.

The bush reminded us of home, cold clear waters, huge steep rocks, lush green bush with ferns, but when we came out of the bush there were meadows of wild flowers and Austrian farm houses, which were a delight to the eye and reminded us of how far we were from home.

Wandering through the bush beside a river - it was nice walking through conifer/fir forest in its natural state, not as a plantation.

Once out of the bush there was no doubting we were in Austria, all we needed now was Julie Andrews and her entourage to come bounding up over the hill(!)

This is our our holiday home, well the right hand unit (the left one is unoccupied), very swish inside with all the mod-cons, so very blessed, being the off season we were able to get it for less than half what they would normally charge.

There was also ample time for trampolining, and as we don't have one at home this was a real treat.
